A walkthrough on how to get the photographs off your Amazing or other Android telephone and onto your computer system.
This cable works great—but you must also have both PC Suite & a memory card,
I received my data cable pronto and I thought it would be an easy matter to find and download the “drivers”. Not quite so. As neither Pantech nor AT&T are particularly clear on what’s involved, I had to really go digging. But, it does work perfectly once you figure it all out. So here’s the deal: First, make sure you have a memory card (mine is MicroSD) installed in your phone (They’re available for less than fifteen bucks at stores everywhere). Secondly, go to the Pantech website and click on the Customer Service link. Now, in the column on the left, find your exact phone (e.g. Breeze II) and click on it. In the middle of the next page, you’ll see “PC Suite”. Click on “View”. Go ahead and download it and go through the installation process, as you would with any other software. Connect the cable between your computer and your phone, and open up PC Suite. The tab in there you will probably want is “File Manager”, depending on what you want to accomplish. The phone and the computer should recognize each other and, by following the instructions under “help”, you should be able to copy files from one and paste to the other. The File Manager part of PC Suite is somewhat spartan and doesn’t give you a lot instant feedback. I wasn’t sure anything had actually happened as I was trying to send a ringtone from the computer to the phone. But when I went into the Audio|external|Audio folder on the phone, sure enough, there it was. And it actually works! Patience sometimes pays off.

|Charges phone through USB and also for file transfers, perfect!,
Bought this item because another item ordered strictly to charge my Pantech P2000 Breeze II did not work. This works perfectly by charging through USB, and allows for file transfers from the phone by downloading Pantech PC Suite from their website. It works perfectly and I’m going to order another one.

Thank you so much for taking the time to video this. It was exactly what I needed! Worked perfectly.
Sol, thanks SO much — your video helped me! I looked at other sites but they gave incorrect info. The thing YOU said that helped me be able to transfer my Thunderbolt pics to my PC was when you said to choose “mount as disk drive” (all others said differently and NOTHING worked!). I’m getting a new phone later this week and had backup assistant to store my contacts but was worried about the pics and videos — now I’m all set thanks to you and your great, easy video! THANK YOU, Sol!!
omg your awesome! thank u! xoxo
youre the best!!!
Thank you – this process was easy to follow, but it only transferred the pictures & videos I had taken. It did not transfer the pictures that I had received and saved. Is there a way to transfer these as well?
Thank you! Thank you!

Great video! Thank you so much. I’ve been screwing around with HTC Sync and it has been a pain in the arse. Thanks again for your help.
