Wirefly (http://www.wirefly.com), the Internets top authorized retailer of cell phones and cell phone plans, nowadays released its list of the Top rated ten Hottest Selling Phones of Summer 2010. Android-powered smartphones dominate Wireflys most recent list, garnering six of the ten spots – illustrating shoppers increasingly enthusiastic embrace of the comparatively new operating system.

Androids current ascent as the operating program of selection, combined with Wireflys outstanding pricing without having the hassles of rebates, tends to make it no surprise that Android devices were among our greatest sellers this summer time, mentioned Andy Zeinfeld, Chief Executive Officer of Simplexity, parent company of Wirefly.com. In fact, had the entire nation not experienced mass shortages of such highly-touted Android smartphones as the HTC Evo 4G, DROID Incredible and DROID X, its most likely that a lot more devices utilizing Googles open source operating technique would have produced it on our list.

BlackBerry smartphone sales at Wirefly also remained robust all through the dog days of summer time, with both the Bold 9700 and Curve 8530 earning respectable locations on the list: third and seventh, respectively. As Zeinfeld notes, BlackBerry customers comprise a sizable portion of Wireflys buyer-base and these devices have usually been among our ideal sellers.

In spite of the rapid rise of Android and the persistent strength of BlackBerry, two non-smartphones — the LG Sentio and the Nokia Nuron also managed to make the cut. There is still a sizable portion of the population who are just not prepared to assume the price of the requisite data strategy that comes with owning a smartphone, Zeinfeld explained. The LG Sentio and Nokia Nuron are two function-rich touch screen devices that offer an experience reminiscent of a smartphone, at a non-smartphone price tag.

Good Seller Lousy Product, March 30, 2012

The seller was very prompt in getting the product to me and worked with me for a RMA and then later a refund. I received the first headset and followed the instructions to get it to charge. I could never get it to charge. It would start and then immediately stop showing the “charging” light and never displayed the charged light. The second one I received was the same way. I tried charging both headsets via the wall charger as well as the USB charger on my PC. I would recommend that anyone looking for a Bluetooth headset look at any other brand and pass on this one.

    People can hear me… I can’t hear them, June 21, 2012

This is my first bluetooth item ever. The instructions for setup are poorly written, probably by someone in China… so much is lost in the translation. Example: according to instructions, when you charge the headset, the red light will turn blue upon full charge… mine never turned blue, just turned off. To be honest, I don’t know if it’s fully charged or not, and there’s no way of finding out.

People can hear me clearly and without any issues… said it was better than speaker phone. Problem is, I can’t hear them… there’s a lot of static and cutting out, even when holding the phone in my hand (1 foot from headset). When I walked into a different room from the phone (about 10 feet), I lost them, and they lost me. I purchased it for a long trip with separate cars… so if we need to contact each other we could do it hands free… don’t know if that will be possible…
