Protective cover works well,
These protective covers work well, but the removable backing is also clear, the thicker part is the backing not the cover, do make the mistake of trying to install the backing rather than the screen cover (I did!). Each cover comes with a small card to help smooth out the bubbles, and a cloth to clean the screen before installing the cover.

Shortly after applying this cover guard my tablet slipped off the edge of the bed and developed several cracks. This stick-on protector has held the touch-screen in place and allowed me to keep using it until I can afford to replace the screen. Works wonderfully.
